Aroya Cowl -- a loom knit pattern

The Aroya Cowl is an easy cowl to knit and a fun one to wear. The cowl is tall enough that it can be pulled up over the head as a hood, but the fabric is soft enough that it settles nicely around the neck when worn as a cowl.

This one is knit on any 3/8” gauge loom with a minimum of 71 pegs. The All N One loom is my favorite for this type of project.

Approximately 280 yards of a worsted weight yarn is needed for this cowl. I used Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn in the Purple colorway for this sample.

The pattern is suitable for a novice loom knitter.
