Looking for a pattern to complement that pretty variegated yarn you brought home but have no idea what you’re going to knit? The Paint Mines Scarf is an easy-to-loom pattern that draws the eye to the beautiful fabric you create.

This scarf is loom knit on any 1/2” gauge loom with a minimum of 25 pegs. Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn Overdyed in the Brileybug colorway was used in the sample.

This pattern is suitable for a confident, beginner loom knitter. The pattern uses stitches you already know: e-wrap knit, u-knit, purl; and will also teach you the slip stitch. It’s a 2-row repeat, so it’s perfect for knitting while binge-watching Netfix. :)
