This one document contains two patterns: Simple Fingerless Gloves and Cabled Fingerless Gloves.
SIMPLE FINGERLESS GLOVES: I wanted to make a pair of fingerless gloves for a dear friend of mine. As with most of my designs, I start with an idea and start knitting. After lots of starts and stops because I didn’t like this or that about the glove, I finally settled on a simple design that allows a lovely varigated yarn to be highlighted. This pattern is knit on an All-N-One loom (or any 3/8" gauge loom set to 28 pegs for knitting in the round) with approximately 150 yards of a single strand of a soft worsted weight yarn. The pattern is suitable for a beginner who can e-wrap knit, u-knit, and purl.
CABLED FINGERLESS GLOVES: After finalizing the design of the simple fingerless gloves, I felt like I wanted something a little more feminine and dressy for my friend. The result of those attempts is this pair of cabled fingerless gloves. This pattern is also knit on the All-N-One loom (or any 3/8" gauge loom set to 28 pegs for knitting in the round)with approximately 150 yards of a single strand of soft worsted weight yarn. A solid color works nicely and highlights the cables running down the glove. This pattern is more suitable for an intermediate knitter due to those cables. The pattern does step-by-step walk you through the cables, so an advanced beginner who is ready to take on a new challenge can tackle this pattern and have success.
Both patterns use a stitch pattern for the top and bottom cuffs that is different than the usual 1x1 or 2x2 ribbing. The stitch pattern uses a two-row repeat of knits and purls and is no more difficult to knit than the simple ribbing.
Each pair takes just a few evenings to knit. Make a pair for you and a pair for your dear friend. You’ll both be happy and warm.
The pattern is ready for download now as a PDF file.

I haven't been able to make these yet because I don't have a loom with the correct pegs, but instructions are nice and easy to print.
