Twisted Ear Wrap - a loom knit pattern

This warm, textured ear wrap is double-knit on the AKB regular gauge little 32-peg knitting board that comes in their Loom Knitting Basics Kit using 75 yards of a super bulky #6 yarn. The ear wrap can also be knit on the AKB 28" regular gauge knitting board with 3/4" spacers, set up for double-knitting. It is possible to knit this on the All-N-One small gauge loom, but you'll need to use a bulky #5 yarn, rather than a super bulky #6 yarn.

The Twisted Ear Wrap uses an elastic hair tie instead of buttons and button holes. The technique used to cast on and bind off with the hair tie is fully explained and has a picture tutorial.

The pattern would be best suited for an intermediate loom knitter.
