This 15” x 12” tote bag is made using ether Knitting Board's Adjustable Multi-Knit Loom or the Martha Stewart loom set. The loom will be set to 46 pegs using a 3/4" gauge.

For added strength, it is knit using 3 strands of yarn as one. The purple bag in the picture was knit using Red Heart Super Saver yarn: 1 strand of Orchid, 1 strand of Lavender, and 1 strand of Monet. The bag requires approximately 225 yards of each of the three colors.

The yellow bag was knit using just 2 strands of Red Heart with Love for the sides. I added a 3rd strand of Loops & Threads Cozy Wool for the bottom and handles.

The sides of the tote are knit using my favorite stitch: the Rivulet Stitch. It makes a nice mesh bag great for your looms and knitting projects. You can even use this as a “yarn” bag, threading your yarn out through one of the holes in the bag to keep the ball of yarn from rolling around on the floor while you’re knitting. :)

For a preview of how easy the Rivulet Stitch is to master, go watch my YouTube video that demonstrates the technique used to create this beautiful and easy stitch: https://youtu.be/H4qPW6HUHFE

This pattern includes a photo tutorial of the rivulet stitch.

Everything is loom knit. There are no seams to sew. (Yay!)

This pattern is suitable for an intermediate knitter, or an advanced beginner who is ready to take on a new challenge.

I purchased 10 patterns, I want to make sure they get a review for each one, so all reviews will say the same thing. I have not had time yet to make any of them, but I have read each pattern and found them all very easy to understand. I am especially excited to try the tote with the woven bottom, simply because I have never done weaving and I love to try new things! All of the patterns are unique from others that I seem to see every where. I’m also happy to be learning a couple of new stitches, which will be easy, because they are explained/described exceptionally. I highly recommend this seller. I have purchased some pretty bad patterns over the years and probably should have just bought one to make sure it would make sense. But I liked so many of the patterns offered and decided to take a chance. I’m very glad that I did!

Love this bag! Instructions were fairly easy to follow, but beginners should ask more experienced loom users for help if they dont understand
