This throw uses jumbo yarn and the Zippy Looms. And “zippy” they are! It only took me around 6 hours to make this 50” x 66” blanket! Easy and quick. It makes a heavy throw! It almost feels like a weighted blanket.
Loom: Zippy Loom by Knitting Board: 10 4-peg straight sections and 4 corner pieces of zippy loom
Yarn: 10 skeins (31.7 yards each) of Mainstays Chenille Chunky Yarn from Walmart. The packaging says it’s a 6 Super Bulky, but it’s not. It’s definitely a 7 Jumbo!!
The pattern is suitable for a confident novice loom knitter.
